Verifying Sender Email Addresses and Domains in Recurpay

This guide provides a comprehensive explanation of how to verify email addresses and domains for sending notifications within Recurpay. Verifying the sender's email ensures that your customers receive notifications from a trusted and verified source, improving the credibility and authenticity of your communications.

To start the email verification process:

Step 1:

  • Navigate to the Settings tab within Recurpay Subscriptions.

  • Proceed to the Notifications section.

Step 2:

  • Enter the email address you wish to use for notifications. Click the Verify Email button.

  • A verification email will be sent to the address you provided.

Upon receiving the verification email, click the link within it to confirm your email address. Once verified, notification emails will be sent from this confirmed address to your customers. Alternatively, for enhanced authenticity, you can verify the domain. Once the domain is verified, any email associated with that domain can be used.

Domain Verification :

Step 3:

  • To verify a domain, click on the domain verification link.

  • Enter the domain you wish to verify. Click the Verify button.

Step 4:

After entering your domain, a list of DNS records will be displayed. These records need to be configured in your domain management service .

  1. Update your DNS records as instructed.

  2. The verification process may take up to 72 hours to complete.

Once the domain is verified, you can send emails from any address within the verified domain.


By following these steps, users can ensure all notification emails sent from Recurpay are trusted and authenticated, boosting deliverability and customer confidence.
