With Recurpay subscription, you have the option to set free shipping for all subscription orders, this can be set from the Plan page on the Recurpay dashboard.
Simply navigate to the plan page by clicking on "Plans" on the left pane > choose the plan you want to set this for > scroll down to the "Offer free shipping to customers on subscription orders" section and keep the fee at $0 > click on save or update plan.
This setting ensures that free shipping is set from the Recurpay dashboard.
However, it is important to understand the shipping structure in Shopify and how it affects the Recurpay subscription.
There are two shipping structures involved: one in Shopify and the other in Recurpay.
When you set up a shipping profile in Shopify under Settings > Shipping, those profiles are automatically applied to the products in your store. So, when a customer places an order, whether it's a one-time purchase or a subscription, the shipping options you've configured in Shopify appear at checkout. The customer can then select their preferred shipping method, and the corresponding fee is added to their order.
For subscription purchases, once the initial order is completed, Recurpay takes over for the recurring billing. For recurring orders, Recurpay is designed to automatically fetch the lowest available shipping rate from Shopify.
If you set a flat shipping rate in the Recurpay dashboard, this will be applied to all subscriptions.
