As soon as a customer subscribes:
A payment link is sent to the customer. If they’ve already selected a payment method (like a saved card), the payment is processed using the preference.
Once the payment is successful, the order is created.
The products are delivered according to the delivery setup.
Right after the subscription is created, payment is processed, the order gets created, and fulfillment begins afterwards.
What changes apply at the Next Billing Cycle:
The changes that take effect at the next billing cycle are those made to the subscription before the next Billing cycle. Here are some of the changes that can be made before the next billing cycle:
Changing or updating the delivery frequency (e.g., switching from every month to every 2 months)
Changing the next order amount (if you’re increasing or decreasing the price for the customer)
Updating subscription items (like removing one item and adding another)
It is important to note that some changes take effect during the next delivery and not necessarily the next billing cycle, especially for a Prepaid subscription.
Next Delivery VS Next Billing Cycle:
The Next delivery date refers to the scheduled date when your product or service will be shipped or delivered, while the Next Billing Cycle refers to the start of your upcoming billing period when you'll be charged again, such as a monthly subscription renewing on a particular date of the month.
