How to customize your Recurpay widget's design and translations

Your subscription widget is what customers see on your product page, and the way it looks and speaks matters.

Recurpay lets you easily customize colors, button styles, and even the text shown on your widget so it fits your store’s brand personality perfectly.

Here’s how you can do it 👇



Customize Widget Design

To edit the widget’s look and feel, head to
"Settings → General"

You’ll find the Widget Design section, where you can control the visual appearance of your subscription widget and button.

You can customize the following four color elements:

  • Primary Color: The main highlight or accent color (e.g. headings, active text)

  • Secondary Color: For subtle accents and hover effects

  • Button Background Color: The color of the “Subscribe” button

  • Button Text Color: The text color inside your button

💡 Pro Tip: Try matching these colors with your Shopify theme’s palette to maintain consistency across your storefront.


Show only subscription option

You’ll also see a checkbox labeled:
“Show only subscription option on all products.”

  • Keep this unchecked if you want customers to choose between one-time and subscription purchases.

  • Turn it on if your store sells exclusively via subscriptions.


Customize Translations

To modify the text that appears on your widget, go to
"Settings → Translations"

Here you can personalize the text across different sections like:

  • Product Page

  • Account Page

  • Cart Page

  • Build a Box

  • Checkout

Each field here controls how your widget communicates with customers, from labels and descriptions to promotional messages.


Examples of editable fields:

  • Subscription Label: “Subscribe Now & Save” → change to “Start your subscription”

  • Subscription Label Description: “Never run out of supplies. Cancel anytime.”

  • Subscription Button Text: “Subscribe Now” → “Join the club”

  • One-time purchase label: “Buy once”


Keep your text simple and on-brand — short phrases convert better than long sentences.

Always review your product page after saving changes to ensure the design and text look aligned.
