The Recurpay Bot allows you to automate specific actions for your subscriptions using simple “If–Then” rules.
This means you can set conditions based on your customers’ subscription behavior and automatically reward, adjust, or customize their experience, without manual effort.
You can access it from your dashboard under Settings > Recurpay Bots.
How Recurpay Bot works
Each automation follows an If → Then logic.
You define the condition under “If” and choose what should happen under “Then.”
For example:
If a customer’s 3rd order is processed → then give them a 10% discount.
This helps you create powerful retention flows like tiered discounts, bonus products, or free shipping offers that run automatically.
Step 1: Navigate to Recurpay Bot
From your Recurpay dashboard, go to Settings > Recurpay Bots.
Here, you’ll see your existing automations and an option to create a new one.
Step 2: Set up your condition (If)
Choose the rule or trigger that will decide when this bot runs.
Available conditions include:
Subscription Amount – Trigger actions based on order value.
Subscribed Product – Apply specific actions only for selected products.
Delivery Frequency – Automate based on weekly, monthly, etc. deliveries.
Subscription Created Date – Trigger for new or older subscribers.
Subscription Tags – Apply rules to tagged subscriptions only
Step 3: Define your action (Then)
After setting your condition, choose what should happen when it’s met.
You can select one or more of the following actions:
Give discount to customer – Reward loyal subscribers with a % off.
Override defined shipping rate – Offer free or discounted shipping.
Change delivery frequency – Automatically shift customers to a different delivery cycle.
Add a free product – Include a bonus item after certain orders.
Step 4: Click Apply
Once you’ve defined your conditions and actions, click Apply to activate the bot.
Your automation will now run in the background whenever the condition is met.
Pro tip: Start with simple retention flows, like giving a 5% discount on the 2nd order, 10% on the 3rd, and free shipping after the 5th.
