If you’re looking to start offering subscriptions on your Shopify store, Recurpay makes it super simple to set up and go live within minutes.

Here’s how to install Recurpay on your Shopify store.
Step 1: Go to the Shopify App Store
Head over to the Recurpay Subscriptions page on the Shopify App Store and click on Install.
You’ll be redirected to your Shopify admin to approve the installation.
Step 2: Approve permissions
Once Shopify opens, you’ll see a permissions page showing what Recurpay needs access to (like products, orders, and customers).
These are required for Recurpay to create and manage subscription orders correctly.
Click "Install" to continue.
Step 3: Complete onboarding inside Recurpay
After installation, you’ll land inside the Recurpay dashboard. You will get onboarding steps like selecting industry, activating widget.
Shopify supports subscriptions only with specific payment gateways.
Before you create a plan, make sure your store is using a supported payment provider.

Once that’s confirmed, your Recurpay account will be ready to create subscription plans.
Step 4: Access your dashboard
That’s it, you’re in! 🎉
Your Recurpay dashboard is now live and connected with your Shopify store.
From here, you can:
Customise or edit the plans created by Recurpay
Enable the widget on your product page
Set up automated notifications for your customers
Step 5: Test the setup (recommended)
Before launching, it’s always a good idea to test your first subscription flow.
Add a product, go through checkout, and confirm everything looks perfect.
