Recurpay’s Upsell feature allows you to increase your store’s recurring revenue by showing personalized product recommendations to your existing subscribers.
You can display upsell offers directly inside the customer portal based on what a subscriber is already subscribed to, helping you boost repeat purchases effortlessly.
Step 1: Navigate to Upsell Settings
From your Recurpay dashboard, go to Settings → Revenue boosters → Upsell existing subscribers.
You’ll see an overview card showing potential revenue growth insights. Click Upsell existing subscribers to continue.
Step 2: Create Your First Upsell Rule
You’ll be redirected to the Upsell Policies screen.
If you haven’t created any upsell rules yet, you’ll see a message:
“You have not created any upsell policy yet! Start upselling customers now and boost your revenues instantly.”
Click Create an upsell rule to start setting up your first upsell policy.
Step 3: Configure Your Upsell Rule
You’ll now enter the upsell rule builder where you can define:
1. Name Your Policy
Give your upsell rule a clear name (e.g., Upsell for monthly coffee plan) so it’s easy to identify later.
2. Define Conditions and Actions
Set the rule logic using If–Then conditions.
If:
Choose the base condition — for example, Subscribed Product → is → [Product Name]
Then:
Show products tagged with specific tags (e.g., “Add-on”, “Bundle”, “Premium”)
Optionally offer a discount (%) on the upsell product (e.g., 10%)
This allows you to show relevant product recommendations to each subscriber based on what they’ve already subscribed to.
Step 4: Save and Activate
Once you’ve configured your rule, click Save.
Your upsell rule will now be active and visible inside your customer portal.
Subscribers who meet the rule conditions will automatically see the upsell offer when managing their subscriptions, helping you increase average revenue per subscriber.
💡 Tip
You can create multiple upsell rules for different products or subscription types.
For example:
“If subscribed to Shampoo → show Conditioner (10% off)”
“If subscribed to Monthly Coffee → show Coffee Mug”
