Understanding analytics in Recurpay

The Analytics Dashboard in Recurpay provides a complete overview of your subscription business performance. It helps you monitor revenue, track cancellations, forecast renewals, and identify opportunities to grow your recurring revenue, all in one place.

You can access it anytime by going to Analytics from your Recurpay dashboard sidebar.


1. Subscription Overview

This section provides a quick snapshot of your subscription performance:

  • Subscription Revenue: Total revenue earned from active subscriptions within the selected period.

  • Average Revenue Per User (ARPU): The average amount earned per subscriber.

  • Average Subscription Lifetime: The average duration (in days) that a customer stays subscribed.

  • Subscription Stats: Shows the count of new, halted, and canceled subscriptions.


You can also view Cancelled Subscription Reasons (e.g., product too expensive, found a better product, etc.), helping you identify areas to improve retention.

Use the date selector on the top right to view analytics for any custom date range.


2. Revenue Boosters

This section highlights additional revenue generated through Recurpay’s automation and upsell tools:

  • Cart Upsell: Revenue generated when customers add more items to their subscription cart before checkout.

  • Account Upsell: Revenue earned when existing subscribers upgrade or add new products through their customer account portal.

  • Smart Renewals: Revenue captured by automatically retrying failed renewals at optimized times.

Together, these insights help you understand how Recurpay’s features are contributing to your store’s growth beyond standard renewals.


3. Revenue Over Time

The Revenue Over Time chart visualizes your daily subscription revenue trends.
It helps you quickly identify spikes in performance, new subscription activity, or campaign-driven revenue jumps.

💡 Hover over any point on the graph to see the exact revenue earned for that day.


4. Active Subscriptions Over Time

Track how your active subscriber base evolves over time.
This graph shows how many subscriptions were active each day, helping you measure subscriber growth and retention rates.


5. Subscription Forecast

Plan ahead with predictive insights:

  • Upcoming Subscription Revenue: The estimated amount you’ll earn from future renewals.

  • Upcoming Subscription Renewals: The total number of upcoming renewals in the selected period.

  • Product Inventory Forecast: A list of products associated with upcoming subscriptions, including their available inventory and expected revenue.

💡 This section helps you prepare your stock in advance so you never miss a renewal due to unavailability.


6. Upcoming Subscription Renewals Calendar

The Renewal Calendar gives you a day-by-day breakdown of upcoming subscription renewals.
It helps your operations team stay organized and ensures you’re always ready to fulfill upcoming orders.

You can view renewals across any selected date range to align your inventory, marketing, and support teams.


7. AI-Powered Insights

At the bottom of the dashboard, you’ll see Smart Analytics Summary by Recurpay AI.
This section provides automated performance insights and growth suggestions based on your store’s data, such as identifying churn risk, recommending pricing adjustments, or suggesting engagement campaigns.
