Build Your Own Bundle (BYOB) allows customers to build custom, mix-and-match product bundles from a selection of items on a single page. You should enable this integration when you want to offer flexible bundle experiences for both one-time and subscription customers.

Step 1: Install the BYOB app
Go to the Shopify App Store, search for BYOB, and click Install. Or navigate to settings in the left side bar of your Recurpay dashboard, click on integrations, and under Integrations, select Apps > Bundle apps and you will see the BYOB integration
Step 2: Create a new bundle
Inside the BYOB dashboard, click Create Bundle, select the Build your own box type, and configure your mix-and-match rules.
Step 3: Enable subscription integration
Navigate to Settings within the BYOB app and select Integration with Subscription Apps.
Step 4: Map your subscription plans
Ensure the bundle product you created is assigned the same subscription plans as your individual products within the Recurpay dashboard.
IMPORTANT: The bundle product must have an active subscription plan in Recurpay for recurring billing to trigger correctly.
Step 5: Publish the bundle
Place your finished bundle product in a collection or on your main navigation menu to make it visible to customers.
TIP: Promoting a "Build Your Own" subscription on your homepage often increases conversion rates for new subscribers.
Example Use Case: Snack Subscription A merchant offers a "Build Your Own Snack Box" where customers choose 4 items from 10 options. By subscribing monthly, the customer is automatically charged each cycle for their custom selection, creating ongoing engagement.
