How to Enable the Integration
Since the connection is already built-in, you only need to enable it on the Loloyal side:
Log in to your Loloyal (formerly Loloyal: Loyalty & Referral) dashboard in Shopify.
From the sidebar, navigate to Program Settings → Integrations (or simply Integrations).
Locate the option “Enable Subscription Support” (or similar wording such as “Subscription-type coupon compatibility”).
Toggle this option ON. (This activates the logic that recognizes subscription purchases from Recurpay.)
Then go to Coupons / Rewards Setup. For each coupon or reward you wish to apply for subscriptions:
Set Purchase Type to Subscription (renewals only) or Both (one-time + subscription).
Save your settings.
From now on, all subscription renewals processed through Recurpay will be recognized by Loloyal and will trigger points, rewards or referrals as configured.
Example Use Case
A skincare brand that offers a monthly subscription uses this integration:
Every time a subscriber’s monthly box renews, they earn 100 points automatically.
After accumulating 500 points, they redeem a $10 discount on their next shipment.
They also share a referral link; when a friend subscribes, they both earn bonus points.
