Step 1: Create a new plan
Go to the Recurpay dashboard and click Add Plan in the top-right corner.
Step 2: Set the delivery schedule
Select the frequency for how often the product should be sent (e.g., "Every month").
Step 3: Set the billing interval
Choose a longer billing cycle (e.g., "Every 3 months" or "Every 12 months") to ensure the customer is charged upfront for the entire period.
NOTE: The billing interval must be longer than the delivery interval for a plan to function as a prepaid gift.
Step 4: Name and describe your plan
Enter a clear name in the Plan Name field that indicates this is a "Gift" or "Prepaid" subscription.
TIP: Using clear names like "3-Month Gift Subscription" helps merchants understand exactly what they are purchasing at checkout.
Step 5: Select products or collections
Search for the products or collection you want to include and enter any percentage discount you wish to offer.
Step 6: Choose a discount amount
This option gives you more control over how you price subscriptions.Which could be:
Percentage off - You can discount using percenatge off, (5% off the product price)
Amount off - You can remove an amount off your product price for subscription (e.g., $10 off)
Fixed Price - Set a specific subscription price (e.g., $50) regardless of the product's original price.
Step 7: Set the anchor renewal date
Under the Avanced settings Toggle the Renew on Specific day ordate option to ensure all subscriptions in this plan renew on the same day of the month.
NOTE: This keeps your billing cycles organized, regardless of when customers originally signed up.
Step 8: Configure shipping options
Select your preferred shipping method or enter a custom fee in the Shipping section.
Step 9: Preview your plan on the widget
Step 10: Save your plan
Click Save at the bottom of the page to activate the plan on your store.
