Here’s how you can enable it.
Step 1: Go to Settings → Smart Renewals
From your Recurpay dashboard, click on Settings in the left sidebar and go to "Revenue Boosters" there you will see "Smart renewals".
Step 2: Review the default retry schedule
By default, Recurpay automatically applies an optimized retry schedule tested across thousands of stores.
This ensures that failed payments are retried automatically after specific intervals that have shown the highest recovery rate.
If you want more control, you can edit the retry intervals later (for example: 1st retry after 1 day, 2nd retry after 3 days, 3rd retry after 7 days).
Step 3: Enable Smart Renewals
Once on the Smart Renewals page, simply click on SAVE to activate it.
After this, Recurpay will automatically start retrying failed subscription payments as per your selected schedule.
Your store is now protected from unnecessary churn caused by failed transactions, no manual intervention required.
