Tasks on Previous Subscription App

6. Disable Customer Notifications

To avoid customers receiving duplicate or conflicting emails:

  • Disable all customer-facing notifications on the previous subscription app

  • This includes renewal emails, payment reminders, and subscription updates

This helps maintain a clean customer experience during and after migration.

7. Disable Customer Portal on the Old Subscription App

To prevent unintended customer activity during the transition:

  • Disable the customer subscription portal on your previous subscription app

  • This prevents customers from making changes such as:

    • Skipping deliveries

    • Pausing subscriptions

    • Cancelling subscriptions

    • Changing plans

Disabling the customer portal ensures the migrated data remains accurate and consistent throughout the migration process.

8. Disable or Uninstall the Old Subscription App

Once migration is confirmed and reviewed:

  • Disable or cancel subscriptions on the old subscription app

  • Uninstall the app to prevent duplicate charges or conflicts

9. Subscription Activation (Handled by Recurpay)

Once you confirm everything looks good:

  • The Recurpay team will activate subscriptions on your behalf

  • Subscriptions resume safely with no unintended charges

No action is required from your side unless our team reaches out for confirmation.
